We are seeking a Float Pharmacist for Upstate New York to perform professional duties and responsibilities associated with the processing of prescriptions. 

This position will be scheduled an average of 32 hours per week, floating between our pharmacies in Syracuse, Ithaca, and Watertown, Monday through Friday day shifts and every other Saturday morning in Syracuse.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Distributes drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners

• Provides information to customers about medications and their use

• Focuses on providing a superior level of customer service

• Ensures compliance with all relevant laws of the applicable State Board of Pharmacy

• Administration of immunizations as allowed by State Boards of Pharmacy

• Any other usual and customary pharmacy duties

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD

• Current pharmacist license in state of New York

• Certified immunizer or willing to obtain within 3 months

New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $42.31 to $83.27 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
