COMMUNITY HORIZONS LLC Transport Aide in STEVENS POINT, Wisconsin
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment for a local community member who needs casual/occasional assistance with transportation to/from medical appointments (appointments may be located in Stevens Point/Plover, Wausau, Marshfield, or Waupaca). This position does not offer a guaranteed amount of hours and is scheduled as needed. This position is within the self-direction program. Under self-directed services you work directly for the individual, which offers more work life balance. This position is hired directly by the member and not through an agency. Hours available: Hours will vary on an as needed basis (dependent on when the member has appointments scheduled). As much advanced notice as possible will be provided when appointments are scheduled. Wage: \$16.00/hour plus .35/mile travel reimbursement (when transporting the member) Tasks may include, but are not limited to: - Assist with providing transportation in the community, and outlying communities, for medical appointments as needed - Help with loading/unloading member\'s wheelchair when needed Who we\'re looking for: - Applicants MUST have a mid-sized vehicle to provide transport (for member safety and ability to transfer in/out). Small cars are not accessible - A valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation is required - Someone who is reliable, dependable, and friendly - An acceptable background check - Great communication skills Want to learn more about what\'s available?
