American Credit Acceptance Human Resources Project Manager in Spartanburg, South Carolina

American Credit Acceptance is looking to expand their HR team! Are you someone who wants to stay within the HR world, but find yourself always working on projects? As an HR Project Manager, you will be responsible for understanding the strategic objectives of the business and HR to manage multiple HR projects to improve processes and the associate experience.

  • Develops project specifications and objectives from initiation to delivery for projects of moderate complexityPrepares, maintains and updates project plans, agendas and systems set-up for projects

  • Partner with consulting firms as needed

  • Conducts post project reviews with participation and guidance from management team to capture learnings and identify areas for future improvement and updates to project and program methodology

  • Partner with leadership and the HR Team to understand the associate and organization’s needs and provide solutions, tools and resources

  • Perform needs analyses and review organization resources to ensure that resources exist or are developed to support ACA’s needs that support the near- and long-term goals of the organization

  • 4+ years of experience within Human Resources with an understanding of federal, state and or local laws related to employment practices.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Project Management or related field preferred

  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP or PMP certification is preferred

  • Able to interact and influence at multiple levels to identify needs and develop and implement processes.

  • Strong communication and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and other Microsoft Office products

  • Demonstrated knowledge through direct, on-the-job experience of adult learning concepts, instructional design techniques, and evaluation methodologies

  • Experience working in organizational development for a large operation or business unit, in a high-growth or start-up environment highly desired

  • High level of experience in working with HR systems

Supervisory Responsibility: This position will have no supervisory responsibilities.

Work Environment and Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some schedule variations as needed.

Travel: This position will require up to 10% travel.
