Purchasing Agent
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to obtain the products and services on-time, priced properly, and in the needed quantities.
- Utilizing our ERP and related systems, generate reports and develop spreadsheets to facilitate the flow of information.
- Complete U.S. and foreign purchasing and logistics documents.
- Assist in the development of continuous improvement processes to streamline the purchasing function.
Key Requirements:
- You should pay close attention to detail and be motivated to achieve goals and work with a sense of urgency.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in math, reading, and writing.
- Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office, ERP, and CRM software.
- Preferred mechanical aptitude and interest in manufacturing processes.
- Excellent communication, telephone etiquette, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work full-time at our manufacturing facility in Souderton, PA.
