Summary:

In this role, you will be responsible for owning manufacturing process at contract manufacturing partners including laying out floor plan, setting up & Qualifying FATP lines, driving yield and UPH improvement, developing and implementing quality system, driving cost and cycle time reduction, and driving ramp and MP readiness. You will be a key member of the Technical Operations team and will partner closely with Hardware Engineering, Quality, Test Engineering and our Manufacturing partners driving NPI manufacturing process readiness to ensure new products ramped and launched on time.

System Industrial Engineer Responsibilities:

1. Ideal candidates are those with experience in high volume mass production. Candidates must have strong manufacturing process experience. This must also be complemented with strong interpersonal and communication skills, keen focus on driving business results, ability to work in ambiguous environments, and strong willingness to collaborate and optimize overall business objectives. Other areas of responsibilities include:

2. Work with contract manufacturing (CM) partners on yield improvement and process troubleshooting

3. Work with CM partner to design and layout the FATP (final assembly, test, and pack-out) line by applying lean and Six Sigma technology

4. Develop manufacturing processes at the factory and drive line qualifications by working with XFN teams and CM partners

5. Work with XFN team (HW Engineering, Operations and manufacturing partner teams) to drive ramp and MP readiness

6. Drive cost and cycle time reduction through line balancing, and line automation

7. Drive FACA (Failure Analysis Corrective Action) and yield bridge to mass production

8. Influence product manufacturability, testability, serviceability, reliability, flexibility and cost effectiveness by coordinating cross-functional teams during early development and ramp

Minimum Qualifications:

9. Minimum 5+ years of experience in Operations engineering activities

10. Demonstrated technical skills and experience, including a detailed understanding of Final Assembly, Test, Pack and SMT processes

11. Minimum 5 years' experience in technical program management

12. Experience in using process driven and analytical approaches to problem-solving (Six Sigma, 8D, FMEA, etc.)

13. Working knowledge of GD&T, data analysis and statistics

14. Proven bottom line project management experience (Planning, Cost, & Delivery)

15. Proven strong interpersonal and communication skills, Fluent in written and spoken Mandarin and English

16. Ability to operate in dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

17. Ability to travel up to 50% in Asia Pacific region •

18. Background driving China-based manufacturers, remotely and in-person
