Description

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic contract to hire HR Manager to oversee and enhance their human resources functions. This position is in the Non- Profit industry.

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment and Staffing:

  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates.

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

  • Ensure diversity and inclusion in the recruitment process.

  • Employee Relations:

  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and effectively.

  • Conduct investigations and resolve conflicts in accordance with organizational policies.

  • Performance Management:

  • Oversee the performance appraisal process, providing guidance to managers and employees.

  • Develop and implement performance improvement plans as needed.

  • Encourage professional development and career growth among staff.

  • Policy Development and Compliance:

  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain employee records and confidentiality.

  • Compensation and Benefits:

  • Administer employee compensation and benefits programs.

  • Conduct salary benchmarking and ensure competitive compensation practices.

  • Manage benefit enrollments and address employee inquiries regarding benefits.

  • Training and Development:

  • Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programs.

  • Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.

  • Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.

  • HR Strategy and Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to align HR strategies with organizational goals.

  • Develop and manage the HR budget.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights for decision-making.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience, preferably in the non-profit sector.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
