About the Organization:

Our client is a dedicated nonprofit organization working tirelessly to make a positive impact in the community. They are seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Specialist to support their mission by maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

Job Summary:

The Data Entry Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the organization’s data. This position involves entering, updating, and maintaining various types of information in the organization’s databases. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage large volumes of data efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter and update data into the organization’s databases and systems.

• Verify the accuracy and completeness of data by reviewing source documents.

• Identify and correct data entry errors, ensuring data integrity.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

• Perform regular data backups and ensure data is properly stored.

• Assist in generating reports and data analysis as required.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve data-related issues.

• Support other administrative tasks as needed.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree is a plus.

• Proven experience in a data entry role or similar position.

• Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and database software.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.

• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Familiarity with the nonprofit sector and its specific data requirements is an advantage.
