Job Description:

My client is looking for a Software Test Engineer role to join their team. Projects/products are DOJ/Military procurement. Clearance preferred (not

required). Knowledge of SW Config in DoD environment needed.

Top Skills:

• Scripting is for tools supporting SW Config support. (perl, Python, etc.)

• Part of SW and Systems Quality Assurance. Initially, primary duties are focused on SW Config end-to-end, but may support other functions also.

• Mostly manual test. But we do have some things automated. Our goal is to become automated with reporting through Power BI.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience and a minimum

of 2 years of experience

• Competent technical expertise and application domain knowledge

• Experience with Compilers, SW Build tools, C++, Java, Python, or Jenkins • Experience with Quality Standards

(ISO, AS9100D)

• Experience with Quality tools (Six Sigma tools, statistics)

• Experience with Omnify/Empower or other PLM Tools

• Experience with GitLab or other Software Version Control Tools, DOORS • ASQ certification desired

• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, communication and writing skills

• Ability to define problems and drive to root cause and effective corrective action
