We are looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to join the Health and Life Sciences Data Platform organization.

In this Principal Technical Program Manager role, you will be defining the future of our data platforms with a specific focus on medical imaging (DICOM) data.

Responsibilities

We are looking for a passionate individual with experiences working with healthcare data and cloud-native platform services, ability to develop product strategies and roadmaps, and communication skills with both customers and leadership.

Responsibilities include:

  • Synthesize data from customers, competitors, and market trends in the medical imaging space to develop the long-term strategy of the DICOM service within Azure Health Data Services.

  • Collaborate with peer product and engineering teams to develop a product roadmap that will lead to successful execution of the DICOM service strategy.

  • Bring clarity to the DICOM service engineering team, helping to prioritize engineering investments and enabling the team to deliver new capabilities to customers.

  • Champion the medical imaging customer needs across the broader HLS Platforms organization, influencing strategic initiatives and investments.

  • Drive customer success through regular interactions with customers, field and account teams, and partners and return the learnings from those interactions into the DICOM service strategy and roadmap.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in marketing, customer support, content, and business planning to support GTM motions.

  • Be the internal voice and spokesperson for the DICOM service, creating awareness around service operations, business and customer developments, and risks and challenges faced by the team.

Qualifications

Required/ Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 3+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.

  • 3+ years of industry experience in medical imaging and working with the Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard.

Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings:

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in a Product Management or Technical Program Management position in the healthcare industry.

  • 5+ years of industry experience in medical imaging and working with the DICOM standard.

  • 5+ years of experience working closely with software development teams, preferably in the healthcare industry.

Technical Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $133,600 - $256,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $173,200 - $282,200 per year.
