Philips Patient Advocate (RespirTech) in Plymouth, Minnesota

Patient Advocate (Plymouth, MN)

This phone-based role provides support, guidance, and advocacy to ensure patients receive the highest quality care and have their needs met throughout their order process for RespirTech device.

Your role:

  • Responsible for the initial contact with patients. Provide support and guidance ensuring they have a clear understanding of the order/shipment process, equipment options, and available resources.

  • Help patients navigate and understand their benefits information including financial responsibility.

  • Provide education to patients regarding healthcare equipment, treatment plans, and benefits of therapy.

  • Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes while ensuring compliance with confidentiality and data protection regulations.

You're the right fit if:

  • You have a High School Diploma.

  • You’ve acquired 3+ years of experience in a customer service position. Experience with Durable Medical Equipment (DME), healthcare or in phone-based experience is preferred.

  • Your skills include proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, strong computer skills including data entry, detail orientation, and problem solving.

  • You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

  • You’re a have an excellent communicator (verbal/written), patient and empathetic, work well independently or as part of a team, and have a deep commitment to patient rights and wellbeing.
