Description

Seeking an experienced Payroll Compliance Manager to oversee our complex payroll activities. The employee will be responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of our payroll system spanning many states. This role involves supporting nearly 400 non-union employees, with a majority being salaried workers. The majority of payroll processing will be undertaken using Paylocity.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regular monitoring of payroll for accuracy, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.

2. Effective execution of multi-state payroll activities using Paylocity.

3. Addressing ad hoc payroll-related queries through email in a timely and comprehensive manner.

4. Collaborating effectively with HR and other teams to ensure efficient and accurate payroll processing.

5. Keeping up to date with current legislation and changes in payroll laws and regulations, ensuring complete compliance in all payroll activities.

6. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of payroll fundamentals to ensure flawless payroll operations.

Job Requirements:

1. Proven multi-state payroll experience.

2. In-depth knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.

3. Proficiency in using Paylocity for payroll processing.

4. Excellent communication skills and flexibility in managing tasks.

5. Capability to examine payroll processes for accuracy and a proven ability to repair discrepancies.

6. Experience in a non-union work setting is preferred.
