Staff Pharmacist - Pharmacy

Northridge Hospital Medical Center

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Staff Pharmacist to join our team. As a Staff Pharmacist , you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. You will work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to our community.

Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.

  • Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and interactions.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy.

  • Perform medication therapy management (MTM) services.

  • Maintain accurate patient records and medication profiles.

  • Oversee and train pharmacy technicians.

  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations.

  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a 4-year course at an accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or Pharm. D. degree

  • At least two years hospital pharmacy experience preferred or has completed an ASHP accredited residency.

  • Microsoft Office Common Drug Information Software.

  • Current CA Pharmacist Licensure required.

  • Fire Safety card within 90 days of hire.

Pay Range

$62.24 - $90.24 /hour
