The Display Marketing Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of digital display campaigns for the Government Programs Brand and Growth team. Working closely with internal partners, the marketing manager will execute the approved strategy, campaign set up, campaign optimization and reporting of direct-to-consumer digital marketing campaigns.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with digital team members on the development of display campaign strategy

  • Management of programs to ensure campaigns are optimally structured, setup, trafficked and are tracking correctly

  • Manage daily campaign optimization, testing, tracking and performance measurement

  • Oversee creative development and approval process

  • Develop reporting and key insights on campaign performance

  • Evaluate and improve internal display processes to support strategic planning and implementation e.g., cost files, reporting set up, partner billing and audience setup

Years of post-high school education can be substituted/is equivalent to years of experience

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital media in client and/or agency settings running complex digital display programs

  • 5+ years of hands-on programmatic and direct vendor experience in client, agency, agency trading desk or programmatic technology team settings

  • 2 + years of building and actively managing and reporting on performance for multi-million-dollar digital display programs

  • 2+ years of experience across DSPs, DMPs, CRM, ad serving and brand safety platforms (Google Ads, DV360, CM360)

  • Experience with Adobe Analytics

  • Advanced understanding of digital display tactics and measurement is a must - specializing in display, video and native advertising lead generation utilizing both 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data sources

  • Advanced tracking and analytics knowledge

  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services, insurance, or technology experience

  • Liveramp, DoubleVerify, and Invoca platform experience

  • Experience with DOMO or Tableau visualization and reporting tools

  • Experience with media planning process

  • Experience in managing complex media projects across multiple stakeholder groups

  • Understanding of digital direct-response marketing tactics and best practices

  • Proven constantly learning about the ever-changing digital ecosystem - with a willingness to test new tools and technologies

  • Proven passionate about results, achieving goals and communicating successes

  • Proven passion for digital display with an understanding of the complexity of the digital advertising landscape

  • Proven highly analytical with advanced problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work within tight time constraints, providing near real-time insights to team members to ensure targets are achieved

  • Proven history of successfully growing brand health metrics

California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington Residents Only: The salary range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, or Washington residents is $85,000 to $167,300 per year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
