As a Systems Engineer, you will join our Air Traffic Solutions – Domestic Air Traffic Control team in Marlborough, MA . Air Traffic Solutions is developing the next generation Air Traffic Control and Weather Data Reporting systems, GPS aided navigation, as well as providing support to existing fielded systems.

*This position provides a flexible work schedule, including a couple days working from home each week, along with every other Friday off through our 9/80 work model. *

What YOU will do:

• You will provide technical support and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel

• You will perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement verification and validation.

• You will support definition of operations concepts and procedure planning / development

• You will interface with personnel from other organizations and represent the program at technical interchange meetings.

• You will participate in daily program scrum meetings and provide status on assigned Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) tasks.

  Qualifications you must have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience in systems engineering or an Advanced Degree in a related field.

• Must have experience with Red Hat Linux

• Experience with Systems Test

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
