Parsons Corporation Lead Engineer - Electrical (Saudi National) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia

Job Description:

Position Overview:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer - Electrical to join our team to provide expert support to our client on a large-scale infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, coupled with extensive project management experience, to ensure the successful execution of the project from conception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the electrical engineering aspects of the project, including design, implementation, and optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.

  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.

  • Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.

  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Mentor and coach junior engineers and project team members to foster their professional development.

  • Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

  • Minimum of 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects and a minimum 10yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.

  • Strong technical expertise in electrical systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.

  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints.

  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Experience working in a consulting or advisory role is highly desirable.

  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
