Job Description:
Position Overview:
Parsons is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer - Electrical to join our team to provide expert support to our client on a large-scale infrastructure project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, coupled with extensive project management experience, to ensure the successful execution of the project from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical engineering aspects of the project, including design, implementation, and optimization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.
Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
Oversee procurement activities, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor and coach junior engineers and project team members to foster their professional development.
Prepare comprehensive project reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 18 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on infrastructure projects and a minimum 10yrs+ experience in GCC (KSA experience ideally).
Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects from inception to completion.
Strong technical expertise in electrical systems design, installation, and troubleshooting.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and execute project plans within budget and schedule constraints.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Experience working in a consulting or advisory role is highly desirable.
Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
