School Speech Language Pathologist

Location: Jacksonville, NC

Position Overview: Amergis Staffing is seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the 24-25 school year near Jacksonville, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing diagnostic and therapeutic services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students while working in a supportive educational environment.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.

· Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students.

· Provide therapy sessions to address speech, language, and communication goals.

· Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.

· Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.

· Stay updated on best practices and evidence-based interventions in speech pathology.

Qualifications:

· Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in North Carolina.

· Experience working with school-aged children is desirable.

· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
