Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Programmer Analyst in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will be proficient in full-stack web design and development, with a specific focus on working with customers for updates and upgrades. With this role, you'll be working in the telecom industry, utilizing your skills in HTML, JavaScript, Python, and Python Flask on the ArcGIS cloud platform.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using HTML, JavaScript, Python, and Python Flask.

• Collaborate with customers to implement updates and upgrades to their web applications.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise in the day-to-day running of web applications.

• Work closely with the team to develop and maintain software that integrates with the ArcGIS cloud platform.

• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.

• Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements.

• Provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new IT software projects.

• Assist in the creation of the system design and functional specifications for new development projects.

• Identify opportunities for web application enhancement for better user experience.

• Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure applications are current. Requirements • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, Python, and Python Flask is a must.

• Demonstrated experience as a Programmer Analyst or similar role.

• Ability to analyze, develop and implement complex programming solutions.

• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle.

• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

• Knowledge and understanding of database structures and data modeling.
