Patient & Family Advocate - Bilingual (English/Spanish) Holyoke Medical Center ? Patient Experience Holyoke, MA Administrative/ClericalFull Time, 40, day shift, Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30pm Req # 9424 The Patient and Family Advocate role falls under the quality department, whose mission is making sure that our patients are receiving the best quality of care, and all safety protocols are in place. The Patient and Family Advocate is assigned to the Emergency Department waiting room to advocate for patients and their families by communicating issues and concerns and seeking resolution through appropriate channels. Provides comfort to patients in the waiting room. Checking in with the patients proactively, providing blankets, crosswords or anything they may need to make their wait more comfortable. Assisting with language barriers and communicating updates to the medical providers.
