The Pharmacy Technician Supervisor/Buyer will coordinate the activities of pharmacy technicians.
To be responsible for ensuring adequate staffing, determining work flow, and providing liaison between professional and technical staff.
Will act as the resource person to coordinate the daily activities of purchasing to meet the procurement needs of the pharmacy department, and provide for the timely acquisition of all stock and non-stock supplies, equipment, and services.
Will ensure compliance to established Dignity Health contracts.
Prior experience in purchasing is required.
Experience in using computer order entry systems required.
Three years of hospital pharmacy experience.
Must be High School graduate.
Required to be flexible in scheduling.
College level courses or related experienced desired.
