Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Speech Language Pathologist provides speech pathology including assessments and developing and implementing treatment programs.
EXPERIENCE:
. Minimum of one year clinical experience in Speech/Language Pathology
LICENSE / CERTIFICATIONS:
. California Speech Language Pathologist license
. Current CPR-BLS Healthcare Provider level from American Heart Association
SKILLS:
. Specialized assessment for the appraisal of neuropathologies as they relate to
communication and swallowing function including aphasia cognition dysphagia
and dysarthria
. Current speech pathology techniques standards principles and procedures
Medical terminology
. Good oral and written communication and organizational skills
. Basic computer skills
Qualifications
Required:
Has a minimum of one year's clinical experience in Speech/Language Pathology. Has good oral and written communication skills, has good organizational skills. Is certified to practice Speech/Language Pathology.
Current California license as a Speech Pathologist, Possesses and maintains current CPR certification.
Specialized assessment for the appraisal of neuropathologies as they relate to communication and swallowing function including aphasia, cognition, dysphagia and dysarthria, medical terminology, current speech pathology techniques, standards, principles and procedures, basic computer skills.
Pay Range
$40.66 - $58.96 /hour
