Supervisor -- Warehousing/Production

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting management in planning, organizing, directing, controlling and coordinating personnel, equipment and material proficiently to meet customer requirements for quality, quantity and departmental policies, procedures and regulations are being followed by subordinates. This position reports directly to the Plant Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manages the production/packaging process under his/her control to ensure corporate productivity levels are attained and recommends methods of improving the processes.
• Helps to maintain warehousing of material.
• Supervises and maintains all personnel in his/er department including monitoring of attendance, quality, adherence of safety and company rules/policies, production standards and discipline.
• Administers counseling and corrective discipline timely and accurately.
• Documents all formal and informal communication with personnel.
• Communicates effectively with subordinates, coworkers and management.
• Delegates tasks and duties to subordinates.
• Documents and trains employee performance, quality.
• Responsible for following all documented ISO Quality Procedures and Step Actions.
• Inspects and verifies all work orders.
• Maintains all equipment and communicates with Maintenance for repairs.
• Responsible for safety of all subordinates, investigating all accidents, incidents and corrective actions.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• 2-5 Years supervision of Production
• Supervision in a Union environment
• Fork Truck Experience
• ISO Quality systems knowledge
• Excellent communication skills
• Very good computer skills
• Second shift opening with Second or First shift capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using scan/WMS system/warehousing
• Live with 25-50 miles

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary/Wage: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour plus shift
• Overtime
• Weekends as needed (work a lot of Weekends)

Experience:

• Supervisory: 2 years (Required)

Shift availability:

• Night Shift
• 2^nd^ Shift
