Intel/OPFOR Exercise Analyst

KBR is seeking an analyst able to conduct general military intelligence analysis and provide organizational expertise dealing with threats to the U.S Army/DoD interests worldwide in Air and Missile Defense (AMD). Provides Army Air Defense commanders and their battle staff the capability to train in an operationally relevant, constructive simulation environment that simulates Army Decisive Action operations employed for Simulation/Stimulation (SIM/STIM) of collective digital Mission Command training, at all echelons, from battery to theater level. Serves as a functional expert conducting research and analysis on Opposing Force (OPFOR) ground and air forces. Develops conceptual employment and credible replication of OPFOR ground and air units, platforms, systems, weapons, munitions and tactics. Specializes in the realistic and accurate planning, development, and portrayal of enemy theater air-breathing threat (ABT) forces including manned and unmanned aerial systems, anti-radiation missiles (ARM), air- and sea-launched cruise missiles, and tactical ballistic missile (TBM) threat forces. This includes the ability to realistically portray asymmetric threats that significantly disrupt, degrade, or destroy friendly unit ground-based air and missile defense units, emplacement sites, organic and networked sensor architectures, and critical supporting resupply/rearming/communication infrastructures.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepares exercise/training-related intelligence reports and assessments, develops briefing materials for the supported training audience and assists with execution of events designed to stimulate the training audiences at echelon from battalion to theater level.

  • Provides support in the integration of Intelligence simulations and mission command systems into collective training events.

  • Maintains knowledge of different types of Opposing Force (OPFOR) order of battle and places that information into a database for use by exercise simulations.

Skills Required:

  • Knowledgeable in the Intelligence Warfighting Function and Intelligence Process.

  • Individual must have excellent organizational, research, writing and communications skills.

  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office presentation, word processing, spreadsheet and collaboration applications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience as part of a G2/S2 staff at battalion or higher desired.

  • Direct knowledge of Army Mission Command Warfighting Functions, Decisive Action Training Environment, Military Decision Making Process, and other supporting operational planning functions desired.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen.

  • SECRET Security Clearance required.

  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution or 8 years of military experience in the Intelligence Warfighting Function.
