Job Purpose:

The successful candidate will act as a primary subject matter expert for Corporate Actions analytics and processing. They will also provide daily support and guidance to staff within their designated section and will work closely with the Team Lead and the Section Manager of the group to address operational issues and work on other Strategic Initiatives.

The candidate will have a good understanding of Global Equity and Fixed Income markets, and a strong knowledge Voluntary and Mandatory Corporate Action Events.

Job Background/Context

Custody and Issuer Operations Dublin comprises of multiple operations groups supporting our Custody (Global and Direct), Agency Securities Lending and Issuer businesses.

Dublin Asset Servicing is responsible for the accurate and timely processing a range of different corporate event types across multiple markets. The department interfaces directly with the local market entities including depositary, counterparts and regulators as well as other Citi lines of business, internal and external clients.

The successful candidate will be required to be a key member of the Corporate Actions team and act as a subject matter expert for a range Corporate Actions event types, as well as provide daily support and guidance to staff within their designated section

Key Responsibilities:

•The accurate and timely processing of all events assigned.

•Adhere to all Departmental Procedures and Controls.

•Escalate processing errors and potential risks to line manager upon discovery.

•Ensure the timely resolution of all stock and cash exceptions.

•Ensure accurate MIS recorded on a weekly basis.

•Monitor and action all daily diary messages.

•Ensure all event file checklists are completed on time.

•Proactively provide support to other Processors on the team and across the department.

•Coordinate and lead User Acceptance Testing on enhancements to systems and regression testing.

•Participate in Contingency testing.

•Assist with team/dept projects.

•Ensure all Quality Control reporting is completed within the required timeframes.

•Monitor and allocate all incoming Front End Instructions and advices.

•Ensure DCFC tasks are completed on a daily basis

•Participate in and host team Huddles.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Experience:

Required:

• Extensive years of experience working in a corporate actions or custody operations environment

• Technical understanding of corporate actions.

• Experience within a custody operation.

Exposure to ICSD’s, Crest, Euronext, Sweden, Germanic, Spain or Global markets.

Qualifications:
