Financial Analyst I – Corporate FP&A

Omnicell is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Corporate Financial Planning & Analysis team to support monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, ad-hoc analysis, and other FP&A responsibilities. This role will be highly visible to key functional leaders and will report to the Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis. The role will have the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

  • Partner and collaborate with functional leaders to develop annual plans, monthly forecasts, and to support strategic initiatives within the functional unit

  • Support financial analysis of spending related to General & Administrative functions including variances to plan, variances to forecast, and any risks or opportunities

  • Develop and maintain accurate headcount reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key metrics of the business

  • Identify and recommend improvements to drive financial performance

  • Prepare presentations for senior management

  • Partner with accounting group on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure accurate recording of accruals in accordance with GAAP

  • Research and recommend new processes or improvements to current processes

  • Engage in ad-hoc analysis/special projects

Required Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel & PowerPoint

  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and readiness to challenge

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience working with ERP/financial reporting/forecasting systems (such as Oracle Hyperion and SAP)
