The System Clinical Manager designs, implements, and evaluates patient care by coordinating, delegating and supervising the care of the health care team, including licensed nurses, certied nursing assistants, health unit coordinators and other health professionals.Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred: Master's Degree in Nursing Required: Ohio RN license, BLS Minimum Required: 3 - 5 years equivalent experience. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Must be procient in knowledge of regulations and reimbursement methods. Ability to communicate regulation and reimbursement methods to all levels of sta. Ability to establish systems to be accountable and compliant to regulatory requirements and UC Health policies. Ability to organize systems and processes and workow to support needed documentation for compliance and scal soundness. Must have strong clinical skills and demonstrated leadership abilities. Possesses strong interpersonal leadership skills and is self-directed. The RN demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide culturally specic patient care and education. The System Clinical Manager eectively communicates with associates, peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication and maintains condentiality. The System Clinical Manager demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth. The System Clinical Manager demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and demonstrates the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting. Demonstrates ongoing competency in clinical performance for age related care, growth and developmental needs, treatment protocols and psychosocial needs of patients with primary focus on adult and geriatric patients. Has knowledge of PC, photocopier, telephone, internal/external paging systems, and medication delivery system.
