Director Project Management

Job Summary:

Our solar technology is best-in-class, and you’ll make sure our customer service is too! We’re looking to you to provide exceptional support for our U.S. based projects and customers while maximizing and protecting Array’s best interests. This involves planning, executing, and finalizing customer projects to ensure they adhere to tight timeline and contractual requirements. Through close collaboration with engineering, finance, sales, supply chain, production, field-service, and quality control teams, you will ensure customers receive their products at the right time and in the right way. This is a highly visible and influential position within the company that may occasionally require some evening and weekend hours.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Team Leader for utility solar installations

  • Develop and execute project management processes for flawless project execution

  • Interface with other company departments, including sales, engineering, logistics, supply chain, quality control, cost control, shipping, commissioning, and warranty

  • Define and execute on goals and objectives for the project management team

  • Identify, analyze, monitor, and control project risks

  • Gatekeep agreement between contracts, purchase orders, sales orders, and invoices

  • Investigate and resolve customer issues

  • Provide advice and support to customers regarding Array’s product line

  • Maintain accurate KPI’s to drive accountability and continuous improvement

  • Ensure there is a smooth transition from construction to warranty

  • Own service standards, policies, and procedures

  • Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions

  • Establish a cadence of customer touchpoints for project managers

  • Maintain excellent working relationships with customers

  • Serve as the liaison between Customers and Array on all post-contract discussions

  • Support key-customer QBRs

  • Build a bench of talent for promotion and development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • 7+ years manufacturing or customer-facing experience

  • 3+ years of project management experience to include:

  • 2+ years of experience leading project initiatives and systems implementation

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively across multiple organizations

  • Confidence, tact, patience, and diplomacy

  • Risk Management

  • Customer-centric attitude

  • Construction Management

  • Strong leadership skills, able to demonstrate motivating and inspiring others

  • Demonstrated team development and mentorship capability

  • Experience with ERP systems, Salesforce and SAP

  • Experience as a project manager on multi-million-dollar projects

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • PMP certification
