Role Overview

Provider/Member Maintenance Analysts work under direct supervision and are responsible for the analysis, data entry, and conversion of new or revised member and provider data into the claims processing system.

They retrieve provider/member data from multiple sources (emails, spreadsheets, electronic downloads), review for understanding, prepare or format the data, and use utilities to upload into the system.

They also determine the best approach for uploading fee schedules or configuring the system to perform complex pricing calculations.

Provider/Member Maintenance Analysts test and verify the accuracy of peers' benefit and fee configuration data entry and setup to ensure quality and adherence to the client's documented policies, procedures, and system requirements. They function as advocates for the client and maintain ongoing, positive relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

  • Analysis, data entry, and conversion of new or revised member and provider data into the claims processing system.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1 year of health care related experience.

  • Post-secondary education and 1-3 years of medical claims processing experience strongly preferred.
