Robert Half Project Coordinator in Aurora, Colorado

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Coordinator based in Aurora, CO. This role is integral to our operations as it involves collaboration with business and IT teams, managing project finances and departmental budgets, and ensuring the smooth processing of contracts and invoices.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with IT teams and leadership to prepare and track detailed departmental budgets

• Organize departmental meetings, setting the agenda and content in partnership with the leadership team

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and speed by working cross-functionally with internal teams

• Monitor and track project finances including budget, invoices, payments, accruals, forecasts, and purchase orders

• Ensure contracts and invoices are accurately documented and processed in a timely manner

• Load contracts and relevant information into the contract tracking and lifecycle management system

• Handle invoices, code them appropriately, obtain necessary approvals, and collaborate with finance and accounting for timely payments

• Assist with departmental and administrative work such as creating presentations, documents, meetings, and employee events

• Work with business and IT partners to drive business value and continuous improvement

• Utilize skills including Atlassian Jira, Database, EO/IR systems, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, About Time, Budget Processes, Communication, Construction, Customer Service, and Excel Formulas to effectively perform responsibilities.

Requirements

• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management tasks

• Experience in database management and optimization

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel Formulas

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook for professional communication

• Familiarity with project management tools.

• Knowledge of budget processes and financial planning for projects

• Excellent communication skills for effective team coordination and client interaction

• Experience in construction project coordination is an advantage

• Strong customer service skills for client satisfaction and relationship management

• Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet project deadlines.
